 I found that "feature" in other messangers, like SIM-IM.
 That's why I think it should be possible.

 Hm, I am not sure if this is really possible, but which window gets the
 focus should also be an option of your window manager. In KDE you can
 configure if new windows always get the focus. Look in the control center
 for this.
