[Lift] Re: Websites and apps that are using Lift?
Does anyone here have any public Lift powered webapps? If so, would you mind sharing the URL and what other support components you are using (e.g. which servlet container Tomcat, Jetty; database; etc.) I just wanted to add that small personal projects are fine. I entered all the responses I got so far. You can find the complete list at: http://www.appliedstacks.com/PoweredBy/Lift If people have more Lift sites they would like to add or if you bring a new site online in the future, just send me an e-mail and I can add it to the list. Or, feel free to just directly add it to the wiki (it's open edit, so anybody can make changes even without logging in). The larger wiki is being put together as a hobby project of mine that I'd like make into a nice community resource that connects people with and helps to promote the use of better languages and tools. -Dan --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups Lift group. I have six sites, four of them that will be public, that are coming online over the next few days/weeks. I'll add them four public ones to your list as they go live. Chas. Matt, Do you mind if I list your name next to nofouls.com? It would just be your name, Matt Hopkins, and not your e-mail address or anything like that. -Dan On Thu, Dec 18, 2008 at 6:53 AM, Matt Hopkins jomyfriendatw...@gmail.comwrote: You can add my Lift app - http://nofouls.com On Dec 17, 11:05 pm, Daniel Cer daniel@gmail.com wrote: Does anyone here have any public Lift powered webapps? Daniel, On Tue, Dec 16, 2008 at 5:32 PM, Daniel Cer daniel@gmail.com wrote: I'm putting together a structured wiki that documents what languages, frameworks, and libraries are behind various websites webapps. One of the goals of the project is to highlight the diverse set of languages and other components that people use to power their sites and raise the visibility of up-and-coming packages like Lift. Currently, I'm in the process of looking for and adding Lift based webapps. I've found a few sites so far like http://buyafeature.com/ , http://www.esme.us/esme/ , and the demo at http://demo.liftweb.net/ (down? http://demo.liftweb.net/%28down?). demo.liftweb.net is back up. There's a memory leak in the Scala Actors library that will be fixed in the upcoming 2.7.3 release. In the mean time, I have to remember to restart demo.liftweb.net every day or two to avoid the memory leak problem. :-( But, it would be nice to have a much more comprehensive list. I agree! It'd be nice to have some sites that I didn't write. :-) But you can add http://much4.us to the list of Lift-powered sites. Thanks, David Does anyone here have any public Lift powered webapps?
