A couple of git questions
I've finally started playing with git, and have started figuring out how I should proceed with my personal modifications, etc. I have taken various patches in my personal cvs tree, and merged them into separate git branches based on master. I then have created yet another branch based on master into which I merge (pull) the other branches (patchsets?), and from which I build. My questions are twofold... 1) Does this seem a reasonable system to use? 2) How does one use git to create a patch between a branch and master, with the intention of submitting it here? -- Michael Welsh Duggan ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) ___ lilypond-devel mailing list lilypond-devel@gnu.org http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/lilypond-devel
self-alignment-interface in TextScript
Hi, I have this working: \once \override Voice.TextScript #'self-alignment-X = #1 But in recent versions I found in define-grobsscm: ;; todo: add X self alignment? So is this interface not supported any more? Or is it a question of supporting it? Or what? Documentation of \book modified
Hi, I just spent some 15 minutes on the documentation rewriting the texts that related to \book blocks. You may want to take a look. I deliberately replaced "\book block" by "output document" at some places, which admittedly is a bit more vague for the experts, but probably more clear for most readers, who never have seen an explicit \book block. We still have a number of examples in the manual that contain explicit \book blocks since that's needed in lilypond-book. I have though of adding a snippet option in lilypond-book that adds the \book block outside the cut-paste section of the generated .ly file to try to further reduce that confusion. /Mats -- = Mats Bengtsson Signal Processing Signals, Sensors and Systems Royal Institute of Technology SE-100 44 STOCKHOLM Sweden Phone: (+46) 8 790 8463 Fax: (+46) 8 790 7260 Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] WWW: http://www.s3.kth.se/~mabe = ___ lilypond-devel mailing list lilypond-devel@gnu.org http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/lilypond-devel
Re: dejavu kievan notation message
Actually, as far as I can see, it was not a repeat, but a delay of one week. Maybe you were not subscribed to this list when you sent it, and it was therefore sent to the list moderator for manual approval. Anyway, it's nothing to worry about. ;-) Greetings, Juergen On Thu, 7 Dec 2006, Monk Panteleimon wrote: Hi. Just got a lilypond-devel email with first message about kievan notes in it again. ties and minimum-length
I've just added issue #171 which describes a problem with broken ties and the minimum-length property. http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=171 In issue #14 (which is only partially solved IMHO) I've asked whether ties should get a default value for minimum-length also. This question is still open. Werner ___ lilypond-devel mailing list lilypond-devel@gnu.org http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/lilypond-devel
