is this a bug in 1.6.0? has it been fixed in 1.7? if so, great, if not,
 can something be done?

Re: citing lilypond

2002-10-23 Thread Mats Bengtsson
Isn't it common practice to make the citation to the
users manual when you cite a software package?
I recommend to include the URL www.lilypond.org in the
citation as well.

 Dear all,

I would like to cite lilypond in a publication. Please, can you tell me
an appropiate item for the bibliographie?

 Best,

It would be something like:

  LilyPond, the GNU Music Typesetter
  version x.y
Han-Wen Nienhuys, Jan Nieuwenhuizen and others

Please don't forget to mention the version of the program you
describe; things may look quite different in older or newer versions.

What kind of publication are you preparing?

Jan.

Persistent font problems

2002-10-23 Thread Russell Smiley
Hi,

I have this font problem which existed in 1.4.x and appears to persist
in the 1.6.5 redhat rpm. I have run the buildscripts/clean-font.sh and
it appears to not make any difference.

Can anyone suggest any further efforts to eliminate the problem?

I've attached a png illustrating the problem (apologies for the
attachment). You can see the 3 on the time signature is squashed. This
also happens with numbers in repeats.

Thanks for your help.

Russell.
