\fixed

2020-02-16 Thread Ethan Sue
In the past, I mostly used Weblily and recently started using Frescobaldi.
When I used Weblily, I used \fixed. When I put those files into
Frescobaldi, it highlights the line in red where the \fixed is. It also
highlights lines in red where \new GrandStaff s are. All my older saved
files use \fixed, and a lot of them use GrandStaves. Is there a way to fix
this?

Bass Clef Troubles

2020-01-06 Thread Ethan Sue
When I put in:

\version "2.18.2"
\score {
  \new PianoStaff <<
%Right Hand
\new Staff \relative c'' { \clef bass  R1 R1 }
%Left hand
\new Staff \relative c, {\time 2/2 \clef bass \slashedGrace des8 c2}>>
}

for the right hand, there is a treble clef before the bass clef. I only
want a bass clef at the beginning of the right hand. When I remove the
"\slashedGrace des8", the treble clef goes away. How do I keep the slashed
grace note but not have a treble clef in the right hand first?

The score is all bunching up and the left hand time values are wrong. If
you delete the "aes8" on line 40 it works. How do I fix this?

Tie and ornaments problem

2018-11-19 Thread Ethan Sue
I am trying to write something in lilypond and came across this part that I
can't figure out how to notate.
What I would like to make is D1 with a prallmordent and then a delayed turn
tied to another D1.
My problem is that I can't get both the prallmordent and delayed turn
outside the tie, which I want.
Thanks,
Ethan

Hello
I am transcribing some baroque canons. Does anyone know how to make upside
down/backwards clefs?
