Phrasing Slur with Arrow

2014-06-01 Thread Kate Sekula
Hello all! Is there a way to have a phrasing slur with an arrow? I was hoping
for something like: \override PhrasingSlur.bound-details.right.arrow = ##t,
but that's no good. Thanks!

~Kate

Re: decimal numerator in time signature

2014-05-07 Thread Kate Sekula

Thank you both so much. The help I've received on this list has been
invaluable. I just had to add a \once to the \override or else every time
signature change was the decimal.

Is there a way to have a decimal, such as 3.5, as the numerator in a time
signature?

Re: How to create a text spanner with a half arrow on right side

Thank you, Pierre! That works wonderfully! I had attempted something
similar, but kept getting the gap which your use of \hspace fixes.

How to create a text spanner with a half arrow on right side

2014-04-30 Thread Kate Sekula
I am trying to create a text span solid line that ends with just 1/2 of an
arrowhead on the right side. Is there a way to set a graphic, something
simple like ...

samplePath =
  #'((moveto 0 0)
 (lineto -1 -.5)
 (closepath))

... as the right text for the spanner? Something like:

\once \override TextSpanner.bound-details.right.text = \samplePath

spanner angle

2014-04-28 Thread Kate Sekula
Is there a way to make a spanner angle upwards/downwards? I am trying to
create a textspanner line which starts at (0 . 0) and ends somewhere around (0
. 2).

Here's a minimal example:
 \once \override TextSpanner.style = #'line
 % \once \override TextSpanner...something about bound details on right?
 \times 2/3 {fis\startTextSpan gis fis!} a32 d, fis!
 c^\accent\stopTextSpan

How to access objects/content from another lilypond file: microtone symbol for raised flat

2014-04-28 Thread Kate Sekula
I am trying to use microtone notation and need the symbol for a raised flat.
I have the lilypond document from the following page saved as microtone.ly in
the same folder as my main document.

http://x31eq.com/lilypond/regular.ly

Is there a way to access the object for a raised flat (esih) from microtone.ly
without using the the /include command? I don't want to print microtone.ly
within my main doc., I just want to have access to its contents.

woodwind-diagram problem

2014-04-23 Thread Kate Sekula
I am having problems using the woodwind-diagram feature on lilypond. I have
tried the snippet code:

c1^\markup {
  \woodwind-diagram #'piccolo #'((lh . (gis))
 (cc . (one three))
 (rh . (ees)))
}

But I get the following error: fingeringtext.ly:276:2: error: unknown escaped
string: `\woodwind-diagram'

Any help or suggestions are much appreciated.

Is there any support for wood-wind diagrams in Frescobaldi?
