Yes, simply write
t = \tuplet
at the beginning of your file.

Frescobaldi download problem

2015-04-02 Thread guoguocuozuoduo
Hi all,

Firstly, I am not sure if this is the right place to post this message, but if
it is not, apologies in advance.
I am trying to download the 2.18 version of Frescobaldi, but it seems that the
link for the .exe version is broken (probably due to the recent GitHub attack),
and I can't find how to compile the source code.

If anyone could provide a copy of the .exe installer, that would be highly
appreciated.

Thanks.

Re: Adding text below the staff

2014-12-20 Thread guoguocuozuoduo
You need to remove the circumflex ^, as that shows the text should be placed
above. A simple underline _ shows that the text should be placed below.

When I copy this verbatim into my script it works. espr goes above the c and

 r2 r4 a4^_3. One^_2. Be - \bar :|
 cs2^_eat r2 \bar |.

I get the unexpected string error.

If I remove the underlines, the text goes above the notes OK, but I want it
 below.
 What am I doing wrong?

Re: Slurs in volta 2 and bend

2014-09-16 Thread guoguocuozuoduo
The slur in Volta 2 can be achieved by adding \repeattie after the note.
For the bend, you will need a hidden voice.

Hi Brian,

2014-08-09 0:11 GMT+02:00 guoguocuozuoduo brian777...@hotmail.com:

I am working on a piece that uses reversed and inverted clefs which indicate
retrograde and inversion.

The reversed clef is placed at the end of a line to indicate retrograde; the
inverted clef is placed before the main clef to indicate inversion.

See enclosed,

HTH,
Pierre

RE: Retrograde and inversion clefs

2014-08-08 Thread guoguocuozuoduo
The original part is left as it is, and copied to another part where the score
is flipped over with the new clef (Baritone clef would be Soprano) and key
signature (G# would be F#).

How is inversion working here (assuming
an inverted C-clef could look inverted)?

Pitch name change in the middle of a score

2014-03-06 Thread guoguocuozuoduo
Hi all,

I would like to know how I can change the pitch name input during the middle of
a score (it is to be used by only one Staff).

For example, I would like to change this

pitchnamesBagpipe = #`(

  (G . ,(ly:make-pitch 0 4 NATURAL)) (a . ,(ly:make-pitch 0 5 NATURAL)) (b .
,(ly:make-pitch 0 6 NATURAL)) (c . ,(ly:make-pitch 1 0 SHARP)) (cflat .
,(ly:make-pitch 1 0 FLAT)) (d . ,(ly:make-pitch 1 1 NATURAL)) (e .
,(ly:make-pitch 1 2 NATURAL)) (f . ,(ly:make-pitch 1 3 SHARP)) (fflat .
,(ly:make-pitch 1 3 FLAT)) (g . ,(ly:make-pitch 1 4 NATURAL)) (gflat .
,(ly:make-pitch 1 4 FLAT)) (A . ,(ly:make-pitch 1 5 NATURAL)) (B .
,(ly:make-pitch 1 6 NATURAL)) (C . ,(ly:make-pitch 2 0 SHARP)))pitchnames =
\pitchnamesBagpipe#(ly:parser-set-note-names parser pitchnames) to this:
pitchnamesBreton = #`(
  (G . ,(ly:make-pitch -1 5 FLAT)) (a . ,(ly:make-pitch -1 6 FLAT)) (b .
,(ly:make-pitch 0 0 NATURAL)) (c . ,(ly:make-pitch 0 1 NATURAL)) (cflat .
,(ly:make-pitch 0 1 FLAT)) (d . ,(ly:make-pitch 0 2 FLAT)) (e .
,(ly:make-pitch 0 3 NATURAL)) (f . ,(ly:make-pitch 0 4 NATURAL)) (fflat .
,(ly:make-pitch 0 4 FLAT)) (g . ,(ly:make-pitch 0 5 FLAT)) (gflat .
,(ly:make-pitch 0 5 DOUBLE-FLAT)) (A . ,(ly:make-pitch 0 6 FLAT)) (B .
,(ly:make-pitch 1 0 NATURAL)) (C . ,(ly:make-pitch 1 1 NATURAL)))pitchnames =
\pitchnamesBreton#(ly:parser-set-note-names parser pitchnames) \with did not
work. A reply would be much appreciated.

Breton bagpipe notation

2014-02-08 Thread guoguocuozuoduo
Hi all,

Is it possible to setup the basic template for Breton bagpipe notation? (as
opposed to Scottish notation, Breton notation has all melody notes stem-up and
all grace notes/embellishments stem-down.)

Here is the code for Scottish notation:

\version 2.19.2
\layout {

  \context {\Voice% All stems go down.\override Stem.direction =
#DOWN% All slurs and ties are on top.\override Slur.direction = #UP
\override Tie.direction = #UP }} This code makes all melody notes stem-down
and all embellishments/grace notes stem-up. Is there a way to do the reverse,
without having to do \stemDown \taor\stemUp a\StemDown \dblb\stemUp b... every
time?(\taor and \dblb are defined variables in bagpipe.ly) A reply would be
much appreciated. ___
