No problems at all. And next time I will report it directly to the bug squad
(I didn't know broken links would classify as such).

Take care,
Gilberto

Ugh. That one's tricky as it apparently refers to v2.19 information
which is not yet live since we haven't released any 2.19 yet.

The current "limbo" state where the next released stable and unstable
major version numbers will be past the currently released stable version
number is sort of an untested area.

One can probably patch up the news using hardwired URLs. Are there
other dead links around? Should we deflect the 2.19 and 2.18
directories on the web server back to their 2.17 and 2.16 counterparts
for now? If that's easy to do until 2.19 and/or 2.18 come live, that's
probably the simplest remedy.

It seems that they are broken because new dev version (2.19) hadn't
been relased yet (which is not surprising; although it exists in git
we most probably won't release it until 2.18 is out).
I've pushed a hotfix to staging: a775c0535512573cb013cd230a2630dffd933ac0

BTW, please send bug reports to bug-lilyp...@gnu.org.

best,
Janek

Broken links on main page

2013-11-14 Thread Gilberto Agostinho
Hi LilyPonders,

There are two broken links in the main page http://lilypond.org/

In the very beginning, under "LilyPond 2.17.95 released! November 3, 2013",
there are links to "Updating files with convert-ly" and "Bug reports". When
clicking on either of them, my browser tells me "404 Not Found".

Take care,
Gilberto
