Ok, in this case it was 16 ~ 16. while I remembered 16 ~ 8. instead.  So
I have to retract my statement.

would be quite curious for a tie.


But it’s quite common to have something like 4~ 8 instead of 4. …

You write the beginnings and corresponding endings of the second and
third slur as -\=2-( and -\=2-) and -\=3-( and -\=3-) respectively.
