[LincolnTalk] Go Go Boots

2022-05-19 Thread Sarah
Any chance anyone has a spare pair of GO GO BOOTS kickin’ around to borrow for
Saturday’s Club Codman? Any size 7-8 should do it. Please email privately.
Thanks!

Re: [LincolnTalk] Car battery charger suggestions for an electric car (not a Tesla)

2022-05-19 Thread Anne Sobol
When I bought my Chevy Bolt in California in fall 2018, I bought a Juice
Box charger and had it installed on a wooden post (no garage). As I
recall, the Box was free from Sonoma Clean Power, but the electrician
charged me a fortune to run a line underground out to the post. The Box
was great.

When I moved into my house in Lincoln in August 2021, one of the first
things I did was have another Juice Box installed in my garage. The
charger cost $625.81, and the electrician charged me $872 to install
the Box on a 220V socket.

The Enel X (the Company that makes the Juice Box) site says: The U.S.
Federal Tax Credit gives individuals 30% off a JuiceBox home charging
station plus installation costs (up to $1,000). You must purchase and
install the JuiceBox by December 31, 2021 as well as claim the credit on
your federal tax return.

With my replacement batteries from GM (due to the recall), my Bolt when
fully charged is showing a range of 300 miles.

Clipper Creek has a well organized web site. You enter the car make and
model and it gives suggestions.

I like the fast charger. I always leave home on a charged battery and
have gotten 60 mpg out of my 2020 BMW X3e hybrid, mostly doing local
trips during the pandemic.

Re: [LincolnTalk] Car battery charger suggestions for an electric car (not a Tesla)

2022-05-19 Thread Belinda Gingrich
Our family used a 120 v outlet for 18 months. It was during the pandemic we
installed the level 2 because everyone wanted to drive the electric car since
it wasn’t tied up all day in a distant parking lot (avoiding the gas stations
was a plus too). We find we only need it on rare occasions but it’s nice to
know it's there.

[LincolnTalk] Red Sox Game Saturday-2 tickets for sale

2022-05-19 Thread Sara Brown via Lincoln
Due to HS Lax playoffs for one of our kids, we need to give up these tickets...
We have two tickets for Saturday's game against the Mariners, May 21, at 4:10
pm- they are excellent seats - Loge 141, Row AA, seats 1 and 2. First base line
close to home plate-you are right on the aisle so it's great fun.

The tickets are $220 for the pair. Game is at 4:10 PM. Weather forecast is warm
and sunny.

Please let me know if you are interested.
