Please join our youth and staff on Saturday, May 11 for a buffet lunch and youth-led walking tours featuring our local community partners in Downtown Lynn. Led by North Shore Dirt Crew, The Food Project’s academic year youth cohort, each tour will highlight aspects of our impact on Lynn’s food system. Partners to be highlighted include Lynn Housing Authority, Essex Street. Community Garden, My Brother’s Table, etc.

The morning tours will start at 11:00 and end at our office on Monroe Street where a buffet lunch will be provided between 12:00 and 1:00 and feature two of our partners, Tacos Lupita and One Mighty Mill.

Afternoon tours will begin at 1:00. You’re welcome to sign up for morning and afternoon tours, if you’d like to experience both. Don’t forget to wear your comfortable shoes!

Note: If you choose the morning tour that starts at Lynn Vocational & Ingalls School Farm, we will provide transportation to return you to your car, if needed.

We hope you’ll join us on May 11!

[LincolnTalk] A very important seat that you probably never heard of-

2024-05-05 Thread Sara Mattes
We have had a “rep” for years who, I believe, does not represent our values.
Please educate yourself as to the importance of this seat, and about the
candidates.
In my mind, Mara is head and shoulders and everything else above the current
rep.
Watch debates, read, attend a candidates event here in Lincoln on June 6…and
VOTE Dolan on Sept.3 2024

[LincolnTalk] Free Thule kayak carriers

2024-05-05 Thread Britta Das
2 sets of collapsible carriers - you need a set of roof bars to attach them
too.
Fair amount of rust but before they got put away for the winter, they were
still functional, so I assume they still are.
If interested, please email me directly.
Preference given to soonest possible pick up (in Lincoln).
Thank you!

This is a big shout out to Zalen. He “soft washed” our large wooden deck at the back of the house.  I was worried about any damage to plants, but Zalen reassured me and the result is perfect.  He did a really great job and I hope he will be available to come back and do it again when it’s needed.Rosamond Delori Please excuse likely errors due to autospell! On Apr 29, 2024, at 7:08 PM, Zalen Stason wrote:Hello Lincoln! My name is Zalen Stason, and I am a diligent and enthusiastic high school student at LS.
