[LincolnTalk] Work selling items on Ebay

Dear Fellow Linolnites,

 

I’m looking for someone to work selling items on Ebay including clothes, 
records etc.

The items are not large. The only caveat is that I’d like whomever works in 
this capacity, to take the items for sale out of my house, package them up and 
in some cases do research about the going rate on some items.  as we are 
downsizing and making space. I can pay $20 an hour.

[LincolnTalk] Looking for an in-law sweet/ small one bedroom apt for a classical professional musician and a small dog

Dear Lincolnites,

I am writing on behalf of my friend, Aleksandre Roderick-Lorenz who is in need 
of any in-law sweet/ or small one bedroom apt for a classical professional 
musician and a small dog. 

He is one of the kindest, creative, intelligent clean respectful people I’ve 
ever known and would also be willing to teach violin, viola, singing,-  
(attached is a  sample  here) guitar & Spanish for a possible exchange/ and 
quid pro quo off the cost of the rent. 

Aleksandre comes from Venezuela where he grew up in the El-Sistiema music 
system and now works at the Boston Community Center, the Dana Hall School 
& the Wayland School of Music. He is also the principal violist for the Lyrica 
Chamber Orchestra in Boston/ Lincoln, MA.

He can supply many other references additionally to mine. 

If there is someone out there that may have a place in mind- preferably for at 
least a year, but is in need of something immediately even if it’s temporary.

[LincolnTalk] concern for the diversity of our town, but economic and racially

Hello Lincolnites, 

I tried to help a friend who is wonderful musician and teacher who currently 
shares an apartment with his hard working mother in the restaurant industry 
apply to Lincoln,’s program for low income housing through the Community 
Builders Program. 

He received a response saying that his individual income, (which is 
approximately 30,000) was too low to be considered for this program and there 
is a 5-7 year wait-list any way. 

So my question is….Isnt’ this the very essence of the Community Builder’s 
program to include people of all economic means?


If any one knows of an in-law apartment, (2 bedroom apartment) for two very 
responsible people with a small  well trained dog, please let me know. My 
friend works in Wellesley at the Dana Hall School teaching music as well as 
Boston’s Community Music Center & the Wayland School of Music. He is a teacher 
of violin & viola as well as voice and his mother is an excellent cook with a 
lot of cleaning expertise.  They are both willing and able to offer these 
services in exchange for a reduction in rent.
