Re: [LincolnTalk] Hanscom Noise Hotline

2023-09-13 Thread Marcie Karty via Lincoln
What should we complain about?  Are they allowed to fly at all hours?  Are
there limits to where they fly?  I don't want to complain if that is what is
expected.  I agree that the amount of traffic has really increased recently,
and they seem to fly at all hours of the night.

[LincolnTalk] great work

2023-09-11 Thread Marcie Karty via Lincoln
I am not sure who I should be thanking, but someone did an excellent job
cleaning up after the storm.  We had a huge tree fall and break through the
power lines on Bedford Rd.  It blocked off the street.  They worked non-stop
till 2am that evening moving the tree off to the side and replacing the power
line so everyone could drive through Bedford Rd by Saturday morning.  Then over
the next day cleared the tree off the street so traffic could move both ways at
the same time.  I'm impressed by how fast it was cleaned up and fixed.

[LincolnTalk] amazing people in our town

Hi all.  I keep reading obituaries of people in this town and am in awe by the
amazing people living here.  Unfortunately, when I read an obituary, it is too
late for me to meet that person.  I wish we could have short biographies of
people living in town.  I am not sure how to do this, but maybe someone else
has thoughts on this.
