This had been a subject of lots of conversation on LT.
The individual listed as “host” has publicly (on LT) stated that his name was 
used in error, and that the true applicant/host was Edie Risser.
This is not “exposing”anyone.

The phone number and address is also public information, if anyone cares to 
open the Lincoln phone book or do a Google search.

I would expect a sponsor to be proud of hosting their event.
Why would they not?
Would they not want to extend a “welcoming” invitation?

Why would you characterize identifying the sponsor as “exposing” them?

As an event sponsor, it is common to provide background information about 
speakers-background, publications, appearances, etc., etc.
That is the usual course of promotion-expressing pride in choice of topic and 
speakers.

How is this different?
