I am happy to follow up with a hearty recommendation for the guy who ended
up finding me actually, via UShip, where I posted a wanted ad. He contacted
me almost immediately, and within a week he picked up and delivered a
fairly large, heavy and fragile cabinet -- and maneuvered it almost
single-handedly into the house with some straps and a dolly. On top of that
he's a nice guy who, it turns out, the auction house also knows well and
was happy to see pick it up. His pricing is fair and reasonable.
He's based in VT, making frequent trips as far west as a line drawn
