[LincolnTalk] Wireless carrier
Does anyone know which (if any) wireless carrier gets good reception at LPS? Verizon gets nothing, I've heard TMoble is better but also not great. Is there at least one that is reliable? I’m still sorting through everyone’s suggestions ( so far AT&T is topping the list) but I did want to add that I do always have WI-Fi calling on. I haven’t tried turning on airplane mode at home in addition but I will. Thank you for all your feedback. Deborah -- The LincolnTalk mailing list. To post, send mail to Lincoln@lincolntalk.org. Re: [LincolnTalk] Wireless carrier
Agreed that AT&T is the way to go. Excellent reception on “upper” Bedford Road. Good service too. > On Dec 21, 2021, at 12:07 PM, Sara Mattes wrote: > > AT&T works well on Conant Rd. > >> On Dec 21, 2021, at 11:31 AM, Deborah Wallace >> wrote: >> >> I am going to bite the bullet and switch from Verizon to another carrier. Re: [LincolnTalk] Wireless carrier
I get good reception from AT&T everywhere in town and nearby except for a small section along Rte 117 in Weston. [LincolnTalk] Wireless carrier
I am going to bite the bullet and switch from Verizon to another carrier. I find their service abysmal and endlessly frustrating. Network extenders and booster equipment give minimal improvement. My understanding is that the town has an agreement with Verizon to install mini towers on top of telephone poles, I think in three locations although I’m not sure where. Thanks in advance for recommendations and enlightenment. Deborah -- The LincolnTalk mailing list. To post, send mail to Lincoln@lincolntalk.org.
