Director 8 Demystified is the official guide to Director 8. It has an in depth Lingo lexicon (including a few terms which are undocumented in the lingo dictionary that comes with Director) as well as detailed information regarding every aspect of creating projectors, shockwave movies, and all of Lingo's functionality. It can be used to learn Director (as a tutorial) or just as a reference book. It's excellent as both. It also comes with a CD that has demo code and lots of extras (sounds, etc.).
