Petite précision il faut être en testing/unstable.
Déjà pour la carte GeForce4 Ti42000, il faut avoir xfree86 4.2.
Dans le sources.list (/etc/apt/sources.list, il faut rajouter:
deb http://people.debian.org/~branden/ sid/i386/
Pour KDE3
deb http://people.debian.org/~schoepf /kde3/woody ./
donc tu fais une mise à jour de la liste:
apt-get update
pour xfree86:
apt-get install xserver-xfree86 xserver-common xfonts-100dpi xfonts-75dpi
Il faut aussi télécharger les paquets nvidia.
apt-get install nvidia-glx-src nvidia-kernel-src
Il faut compiler c'est 2 derniers. La doc se trouve dans
/usr/share/nvdia-kernel et /usr/share/nvidia-glx.
Après les avoir correctement installer il faut rajouter dans
/etc/X11/XFConfig-4
nvidia dans la section Device
Driver nvidia
Si joint les fichiers XF86Config-4 et le sources.list
