Grab http://www.zip.com.au/~akpm/linux/amlat.tar.gz and
use `realfeel' and/or `realfeel2'.  Just start them running
and start stressing the computer; watch the output.

It's much simpler.

What error are you getting? I have been doing tests at home
under redhat 7.3 and they worked for me...
