[linux-dvb] EIT help
I know that the amount of data in EIT tables varies from now and next to up to a weeks schedule. I was wandering if anybody knows if any UK DVB-T transmitters broadcast channels with more than just now and next. If so what are they? If not, does anybody have a list of European satellite broadcasts that contain comprehensive EIT EPG data? Surely somebody must have compiled a list, although I must confess searching through Google didn't yield any results. Cheers. [linux-dvb] AW: Re: TT DVBSat PCI problem
Hi, I had the same problems, when the IRQ settings where not o.k. I solved it, by setting the bios option Boot to PNP-OS to NO, so the bios will initialize the card. If that doesn't help, try changing PCI slot. So long Joerg -Ursprüngliche Nachricht- Von: Andrea Segato [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Gesendet: Freitag, 22. [linux-dvb] Re: howto flush buffers to card
Klaus Schmidinger wrote: Andreas Schultz wrote: [...] According to the AV711x data sheet sending a single I-Frame should be possible. I wrote about this to Ralph some time ago, but he didn't know why this doesn't work. See http://linuxtv.org/mailinglists/linux-dvb/2001/12-2001/msg2.html Actually the workaround in DVB/driver/dvb.c's play_iframe() shouldn't be necessary... It's not only the I-Frames, e.g. what if the stream ends with or should stop at a P-Frame? There is not way to precisly stop at a certain frame. One can simply cease to send data to the card and it will just continue to show the last *decoded* frame, but this will not be the last sent frame. [linux-dvb] converting a TS while reading from /dev/ost/dvr0
Hi, I just tried the following using a function of mpegtools/transform.c from today's cvs: --- dvr_fd = open(/dev/ost/dvr0, O_RDONLY); ts_to_pes(dvr_fd, audio_pid, video_pid, 1); --- The result is a short piece of an MPEG PS. It stops after few seconds. If I call ts_to_pes multiple times, i.e. in a while(1) loop, the result is a broken MPEG PS. It seems like frames are missing then. What do i need to change inside ts_to_pes to get a correct stream? I wonder why ts_to_pes returns after a few seconds instead of continuing transformation. Because the input is unbuffered and doesn't use select to see if data is available. As soon as one read fails it bails. Use record_mpeg from dvb_formats.c in the tuxzap package. See rtuxzap on how to set dvr_info_t structs. If you want it to run in a thread, use c_dvr_thread_record.
