this, it is a waste of time.

Unfortunately, we have been infested with professional trolls.

We can't help much in such a case, the only thing what we can do is to
ignore them. Basically trolls are people who find it hard to mix in
their surroundings and or community and hence they do not have
anything else to do and hence find more interest in trolling/insulting
others.

My request is that all you folks just ignore the trolls, once they are
found to be trolls, ignore them completely in all senses. Sometimes,
they throw in small technical pieces, such as to attract as bait, but
it would be up to the users not to take the bait.

Manu

I would say there's a deeper reason behind everything. People don't
come up with nonsense if there's no reason for.. that for signing up
and writing annoying things takes just too much time for most people
(well there's one known exception).

It's the internal problems this project has which reflects to the outside world.
You, I and several others are also part of that problem, and at least
to me it seems to be unsolvable the way it is at the moment. If you
remember the words you've written a few weeks ago that you'll never
ask Mauro to pull your code, but you fight for your code which you
have committed earlier to the v4l-dvb project and don't accept patches
which have been written by others (eg. Trent).
Either you're overloaded with what you're doing or just try to take
care that everything you ever touched belongs to you and noone has
access to it .. I don't know.

Why should you care about the project's internal problem, when you
aren't part of it.
I don't think so.

Oh, BTW: I take in patches that are sensible from the device POV, not
just something that is written from a patch POV.

I don't care how you interpret what i am doing.

So, Feel free to make your own assumptions, it's not possible within
my capabilities, to clear the cloud in your head.

NOTE: Also, feel free to feed the trolls, as your best buddy's are the
trolls. My comments were to the normal users, having no clouds in
their heads.

Manu,

could you be a bit more precise
about _your personal_ troll list?

Since I suspect you are still sending unrequested mails, announced as
PRIVATE NOTES, behind the visible lines, like you did with me, when I
asked, why you always cry like mad in case something comes in from v4l?

The most evil troll stuff I have ever seen came exactly from you.
Most evil, because not even public, and leaving only one choice, agree
with your personal feelings or die.

We have discussed on this internally, since you have been on the trip
who rules by the sword, must die by the sword and found all sort of
excuses for you, and hoped again ...

Like I did after you firstly were going out of any known rules, waiting
for about six weeks, if that could ever be really be meant serious ...

Nothing happened!

Mike, as I know now, abused by you for your run against Mauro, as said
already, you could have had it all during long previously, has not seen
any excuse until now, not to talk about Mauro.

You did not talk to the v4l maintainer for one year, just some
misunderstanding on bttv v4l2 conversion was enough for that, you had
all time before to do something better on it, it was wide open.

YOU HAVE NOT BEEN SEEN AT ALL.

After all, it seems to me that you are exactly the backstage politician
you claim others to be.

There is _nobody_ else on linux-dvb, who ever behaved like that.

Cheers,
Hermann
