netboot problem
Hi, I am testing fai with netboot. I have dhcp, and tftp working. The client gets an IP and dl's kernel, but then it hangs: BootWare Network Boot ROM (C) Copyright Lanworks Technologies Inc. 1987-1997. When using BOOTP and imggen (version 1.01) I get: BOOTP record too large But if I use version 1.00 of imggen everything is OK. Maybe DHCP has the same problem. -- Gruss Thomas

The reason I FAI uses a better Linux ;-) distribution that kickstart and has a very flexible class system. Look at the feature list of fai: http://suenner.informatik.uni-koeln.de/fai/fai-guide.html/ch-intro.html#s-features > ps. Is there any more work to be done for the woody release of > fai? I'd like to use fai woody version. The current version (2.3.2) is ready to use for woody. -- Gruss Thomas
