Yes, RedHat Linux 6.0 Distribution, 2.2.9 kernel, latest ax25-lib,
 ax25-tools, ax25-apps.

Ok, I now know what went wrong and I just sent a patch to Craig to fix
this (among other things). The trouble is that while the actual fix is
simple (a one liner), Red Hat makes things a bit more complicated by using
a glibc version that is recent but not recent enough... So people will
need to fiddle with the header files if they want compile things them
selves. The other alternative is to wait for the Red Hat people to make
RPMs for the stuff.

Hi Tomi, I hope you can get the one liner that fixes netromd to compile
using 6 month old library's. Why assume every ham has the capability to
load and use an experimental library? This is not the case.

Is netromd broke in ax25-tools-0.0.2?

1999-06-30 Thread Byron Hicks

I installed the new ax25-tools, ax25-apps, and ax25-lib and everything
works great with the exception of netromd.

Netromd loads ok, but when I receive routing updates from netrom
neighbors, I get the following error:

Jun 30 13:24:20 w5gb netromd[10867]: netromr: SIOCADDRT: Invalid
argument

When I switch back to the old netromd, the problem goes away, and my
netrom nodes list reappears.

Anyone else having this problem?
