Re: Hebrew Linux Recipe App?

I know this is a kind of silly answer, but what I personally use is... OpenOffice. I put each recipe in a separate page, have headings likes "Ingredients" and "Preparation" on each page, and what I find to be a nice touch is to add a photo of every dish - preferably together with one of the kids enjoying it ;-) I then have a PDF I can use or share with people who ask me for a recipe, and also print it and use it in the kitchen (where, as of yet, I don't have a computer :-)). It's not a "recipe application", but it definitely fills my needs. I have a pl2303 based usb-serial. i can configure it to 9600 or 14400. i can not configure it however to 10333 bps. on windows, it agrees to configure it to 10333, however it actually configure it to 9600. I talked with the maintainer of the driver. he told me that the chip only supports standard baud rates. I am looking for one that supports custom baud rates. I have solved it temporarily by using an AVR i have to translate bauds ... cheers, erez > but what I use is a > TTL voltage USB-serial cable from FTDI Chip, for mere 15 quid + S&H. > Make sure you buy the one you need. I don't know what do you mean by custom baud rates, but what I use is a TTL voltage USB-serial cable from FTDI Chip, for mere 15 quid + S&H. Make sure you buy the one you need. Mine was TTL-232R-3V3. It works flawlessly with minicom on linux. -- Sincerely Yours, Michael Vasiliev ___ Linux-il mailing list Linux-il@cs.huji.ac.il http://mailman.cs.huji.ac.il/mailman/listinfo/linux-il
