Why not buy a hardware modem ? I know Dynamode sell hardware PCI modems. Re: WinModem driver
Hi Instead of buying a modem and then looking for a driver, I ask: does anyone have a PCI soft modem that works with GPLd drivers for him, so it is not restricted to a specific kernel ? if so, can one elaborate ? Hi Eran, http://www.grapevine.net/~gromitkc/winmodem.html#drivers Look for ESS drivers in that page. They are only compatible with kernel 2.2.12 according to that page, so you might need to play a bit with it if you want to use it on other versions of kernel..
