recommendations for audio streaming servers

2005-03-06 Thread Diego Iastrubni
Hi,

I am looking for a streaming audio server application for linux. Must be free,
and if it is found in Fedora, great.

I have searched my debian repository and it seems I can choose from a few:
* icecast
* darkice
* slimp3

From all above, icecast seems the most promising. Does anyone have a
recommendation or experience? Reviews on this subject before I continue my
google search?
