2.6.22-2-686 (from Debian unstable), the configuration is of course very 
different, first of all the CPU options, SMP support... My .config is 
below. I've hoped this type of error should be "easy" to identify and fix, 
isn't it? The other problem with this machine 
(http://lkml.org/lkml/2007/10/4/428) seems more difficult... Will try to 
play with the config / try some bisect.
