Why not fix it for 2.4. It doesnt actually seem hard ?

On which subject - anyone who has, or can get, a datasheet for the Intel
82092AA PCI-PCMCIA bridge, please drop me a line.

Think it's not relevant but just in case: the RH6.1 cardmgr is
being used though linux/Documentation/Changes says it should be
upgraded for this kernel. kernel is SMP but there's only 1 CPU.
