This is why I hate FTP.  This ALWAYS happens to someone when their FTP

 I've seen this before on some Linux FTP servers. 

 From what I can tell, some FTP servers return (year -1) for directory
queries.  It will return the correct year after 24 hrs have elapsed...

This is why I hate FTP.  This ALWAYS happens to someone when their FTP
client tries to be smart and convert dates incorrectly.
