Bulding az6007 module fails
Hello, Terratec has released sources for the AzureWave 6007 chipset at http://linux.terratec.de/files/TERRATEC_H7_Linux.tar.gz I have merged these sources into a 2.6.38-rc tree and tried to compile these modules, but I get an error. Can someone tell me how to fix this in order to build the modules? Maybe these sources could even become part of the official Linux kernel? Below is the output when I try to buld the modules. I have found a device from Terratec, the Terratec H7. They have published a driver for this device at http://linux.terratec.de/files/TERRATEC_H7_Linux.tar.gz So I think, I will try this device when I have figured out, how their kernel modules is to be built. Well supported USB DVB-C device?
Hello, is there a DVB-C device with USB that is well supported by a recent kernel (2.6.38)? Thanx Malte -- To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-media" in the body of a message to majord...@vger.kernel.org More majordomo info at http://vger.kernel.org/majordomo-info.html
Support for device 0CCD:00B2 ?
Hello, I have now bought a Terratec Cinergy HTC, 0CCD:00B2. Unfortunately I do not know which chipset this device uses, it handles DVB-T,DVB-C and analog cable TV. Is there already a kernel module supporting this device? Does the tm6000 driver handle analogue TV?
Hello, I have a Terratec Cinergy Hybrid, running the tm6000 module from Kernel 2.6.38. Neither MythTV, nor tvtime can find analogue channels. So I wonder, does the tm6000 driver handle analogue signals at all? tm6000 module does not find firmware, despite being there
Hello, I run a Terratec Cinergy Hybrid Stick with the tm6000 module. The modules loads fine, but sometimes I see this message: xc2028 8-0061: Error: firmware xc3028-v27.fw not found Actually, the firmware file *is* there in /lib/firmware. What does this error mean? Does it have any importance? Re: Terratec Cinergy Hybrid stick
One more strange thing: Kernel 2.6.31 reports USB ID 0ccd:00a5 and with Kernel 2.6.38-rc the device has a different USB ID: 6000:0002 What does that mean? Terratec Cinergy Hybrid stick
Hello, I am just about to install a 2.6.38 kernel to get my Terratec Cinergy Hybrid stick running. Since this is a hybrid device, I wonder, how do I tell the device that an analog cable signal is connected? I do not want to use the DVB- T part of the device, but the analog part. Does the device automagically detect what type the input signal is? dvb-t: searching for channels
Hello, I just purchased a Hauppauge Nova DVB-T USB stick and the kernel module and firmware recognizes it well. I have first used Kaffeine to search for channels, but it has found none. To be sure I even bought a better, an active dvb-t antenna with a 20dB amplifier. And now I used dvbscan to scan for channels, I invoked it like this: dvbscan -out channels /usr/share/dvb/dvb-t/de-Mannheim Is this the better way? It takes now longer than 15 minutes, is this normal? Is dvbscan more reliable than kaffeine for searching for channels? If I still find no channels, what could be the cause? In my region dvb-t signals are said to be not too well. thanx Malte -- To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-media" in the body of a message to majord...@vger.kernel.org More majordomo info at http://vger.kernel.org/majordomo-info.html
