ir-keytable: coredump
Hello, I am facing oft the ir-keytable crash with an coredump and mostly I need to reboot whole device to have remote working again. Note that here it creates coredump on an device which i actually not use. On the Tevii USB S650 IR (IR-receiver inside an USB DVB re) which is recognised as the rc1. Here is the coredump and also on an paste page [1] for better reading. Someone have any suggestion to solve this issue? $ sudo ir-keytable -v Found device /sys/class/rc/rc0/ Found device /sys/class/rc/rc1/ Input sysfs node is /sys/class/rc/rc0/input7/ Event sysfs node is /sys/class/rc/rc0/input7/event4/ Parsing uevent /sys/class/rc/rc0/input7/event4/uevent /sys/class/rc/rc0/input7/event4/uevent uevent MAJOR=13 /sys/class/rc/rc0/input7/event4/uevent uevent MINOR=68 /sys/class/rc/rc0/input7/event4/uevent uevent DEVNAME=input/event4 Parsing uevent /sys/class/rc/rc0/uevent /sys/class/rc/rc0/uevent uevent NAME=rc-medion-x10 /sys/class/rc/rc0/uevent uevent DRV_NAME=ati_remote input device is /dev/input/event4 /sys/class/rc/rc0/protocols protocol other (disabled) Found /sys/class/rc/rc0/ (/dev/input/event4) with: Driver ati_remote, table rc-medion-x10 Supported protocols: other Enabled protocols: Name: X10 Wireless Technology Inc USB bus: 3, vendor/product: 0bc7:0006, version: 0x0100 Repeat delay = 500 ms, repeat period = 125 ms Input sysfs node is /sys/class/rc/rc1/input9/ Event sysfs node is /sys/class/rc/rc1/input9/event6/ Parsing uevent /sys/class/rc/rc1/input9/event6/uevent /sys/class/rc/rc1/input9/event6/uevent uevent MAJOR=13 /sys/class/rc/rc1/input9/event6/uevent uevent MINOR=70 /sys/class/rc/rc1/input9/event6/uevent uevent DEVNAME=input/event6 Parsing uevent /sys/class/rc/rc1/uevent /sys/class/rc/rc1/uevent uevent NAME=rc-tevii-nec /sys/class/rc/rc1/uevent uevent DRV_NAME=dw2102 input device is /dev/input/event6 /sys/class/rc/rc1/protocols protocol nec (disabled) Found /sys/class/rc/rc1/ (/dev/input/event6) with: Driver dw2102, table rc-tevii-nec Supported protocols: NEC Enabled protocols: Name: IR-receiver inside an USB DVB re bus: 3, vendor/product: 9022:d650, version: 0x Repeat delay = 500 ms, repeat period = 125 ms $ $ sudo coredumpctl TIMEPID UID GID SIG PRESENT EXE Mon 2015-05-18 11:55:13 CEST233 0 0 11 * /usr/bin/ir-keytable Mon 2015-05-18 21:13:02 CEST271 0 0 11 * /usr/bin/ir-keytable Tue 2015-05-19 15:07:00 CEST289 0 0 11 * /usr/bin/ir-keytable $ sudo coredumpctl dump 289 -o core PID: 289 (ir-keytable) UID: 0 (root) GID: 0 (root) Signal: 11 (SEGV) Timestamp: Tue 2015-05-19 15:07:00 CEST (17h ago) Command Line: /usr/bin/ir-keytable -a /etc/rc_maps.cfg -s rc1 Executable: /usr/bin/ir-keytable Control Group: /system.slice/systemd-udevd.service Unit: systemd-udevd.service Slice: system.slice Boot ID: fde764562af24d44ac635df240384c8e Machine ID: df40478810164b36a96f528b0ec05287 Hostname: vdrvdpau Coredump: /var/lib/systemd/coredump/core.ir-keytable.0.fde764562af24d44ac635df240384c8e.289.143204082000.lz4 Message: Process 289 (ir-keytable) of user 0 dumped core. Re: Kernel crash with dvb devices
Hi, I don’t have S660 but the S650 and I have hat also kernel crash see on the link [1]. For this i am using an workaround inside grub (I am on Archlinux x86_64): /etc/default/grub: GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT=irqpoll ipv6.disable=1 With the irqpoll I don’t have crashes. Of course it would be great to fix this. Maybe it can help you to. Hi, With the kernel 3.16.2-1-ARCH i am unable to watch DVB using my TeVii DVB-S2 S650 and VDR. After reboot it works for like a 5 minutes and then i get this Call Trace. Best driver for saa7164 w/ analog
Hello list, I use a HVR-2250 with MythTV. I have been using the beta drivers with analog support from Steven Toth for quite some time. I am now experiencing failed recordings from the second tuner on the card. So far I have not seen any failed analog recordings only failed DVB (ClearQAM). I am wondering if the driver with analog support has been merged into the main v4l-dvb tree and if I should update my driver. The driver I currently use is tagged 8da3bd06a289. If it matters, this is the error I see in the backend log from Myth: 2011-01-05 21:30:30.172 TVRec(4): ASK_RECORDING 4 29 0 0 2011-01-05 21:30:30.230 TVRec(12): ASK_RECORDING 12 29 0 0 2011-01-05 21:30:30.789 TVRec(3): ASK_RECORDING 3 29 0 0 2011-01-05 21:31:02.957 TVRec(3): Changing from RecordingOnly to None 2011-01-05 21:31:03.078 Finished recording Modern Family Slow Down Your Neighbors: channel 1131 2011-01-05 21:31:03.421 TVRec(3): Changing from None to RecordingOnly 2011-01-05 21:31:03.485 TVRec(3): HW Tuner: 3-3 2011-01-05 21:31:03.567 DVBSM(/dev/dvb/adapter1/frontend0), Warning: Cannot measure Signal Strength eno: Invalid argument (22) 2011-01-05 21:31:03.609 DVBSM(/dev/dvb/adapter1/frontend0), Warning: Cannot measure S/N eno: Invalid argument (22) 2011-01-05 21:31:03.745 AutoExpire: CalcParams(): Max required Free Space: 3.0 GB w/freq: 7 min 2011-01-05 21:31:03.815 Started recording: Cougar Town:No Reason to Cry: channel 1131 on cardid 3, sourceid 1 2011-01-05 21:31:03.910 Updating status for Modern Family:Slow Down Your Neighbors on cardid 3 (Tuning = Recorded) Thanks, James -- To unsubscribe from this list: send the line unsubscribe linux-media in the body of a message to majord...@vger.kernel.org More majordomo info at http://vger.kernel.org/majordomo-info.html
saa7164 analog driver crash
First of all I would like to thank Steven Toth for working on the driver for the HVR-2250 cards. I bought one some time ago as an eventual replacement for mt PVR-500 and it seems that time may be approaching. I noticed that analog support had been added and wanted to try it out. Second, I hope this is the correct list for problems with this driver. I am running Ubuntu 9.10 amd64 with kernel version: linux-image-2.6.31-22-generic2.6.31-22.63 I downloaded the saa7164 tree with analog support yesterday (8-25-2010). I compiled it (excluding the firedtv driver) and installed it. The first boot complained of missing firmware so I put that in place and booted again. On the second boot the system ran for almost 4 minutes before I restarted it because of a crash. On the third boot the system ran for a some time. It eventually crashed after almost an hour. During that time there were several kernel crashes logged in the system log. I have two other dvb cards in this system. Both of the are Pinnacle 800i ATSC/ClearQAM and frame grabber analog devices. MythTV 0.23 is installed on this machine and the HVR-2250 is dvb devices 0 1. They are also the first two devices used by Myth. A recording started at 9:00AM on dvb0 which is one of the HVR-2250 devices. If there is any other information I can provide that would help track down the cause please let me know. Re : [linux-dvb] Technotrend Budget S2-3200 Digital artefacts on HDchannels
Hi, I have also TT-3200 and would like to have driver which are not able to burn anything, but to WORK as they should. I am currently using liplianindvb repository, because it seems only one working with my card. To bad that they have code which can burn demodulator in some case, as i don't wanna that. Well till now i have had luck then seems so, but I can use multiproto driver to but they should work OK with tt-3200 (i can test them to if needed) have only Astra 19.2E and Hotbird 13.0. There should be also respect to ppl who build driver and stuff we are using, and Thank to them. -- To unsubscribe from this list: send the line unsubscribe linux-media in the body of a message to majord...@vger.kernel.org More majordomo info at http://vger.kernel.org/majordomo-info.html
