You might want to try doscmd in FreeBSD.
If you want to try to run dosemu in FreeBSD with it's linux emulation, You might need 
to issue brandelf -t linux /dosemu/binary

DOSEMU used to run on NetBSD. Nobody maintained it for over 5 years so the support
code was dropped. You're free to resurrect it if you feel you're able to
and can test it.
