[linux-sunxi] Re: Olimex A20 board I2s not starting for clock failure.
Oops I grapped the wrong lines of code, Here are the correct ones: if(clk_set_parent(i2s_moduleclk, i2s_pll2clk)){ printk("try to set parent of i2s_moduleclk to i2s_pll2ck failed! line = %d\n",__LINE__); goto out1; } Dennis On Wednesday, April 9, 2014 7:05:27 AM UTC-6, Dennis Kerrisk wrote: > > I have an Olimex A20 board running version 3.4.79. [linux-sunxi] Olimex A20 board I2s not starting for clock failure.
I have an Olimex A20 board running version 3.4.79. I have built it to enable I2S, but when I boot I get [3.141094] try to set parent of i2s_moduleclk to i2s_pll2ck failed! line = 603 And the I2s driver does not start. The lines of code in the driver that fails is: if(clk_set_rate(i2s_moduleclk, 24576000/8)){ printk("set i2s_moduleclk clock freq to 24576000 failed! line = %d\n", __LINE__); goto out1; } Any suggestions on what to look for to get this working???/ Dennis -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "linux-sunxi" group. [linux-sunxi] Re: i2s audio codec support for sun7i
Looks like I uploaded the wrong config. [linux-sunxi] Re: i2s audio codec support for sun7i
Yes, I have i2s running on an A10 mars board. I just enabled the sunxi i2s in the kernel config, built the kernel and it worked. But the mars board has LED's on the I2S pins, so they are almost impossible to use as I2s. I hooked wires up to it for a test and it worked. It showed up in alsa, using aplay. I will have to look for my kernel, as I don't think I saved it, I am now trying to get I2S to work on an A20 olimex board, because it have the I2S brought out to a header. I have a kernel built and loaded, but the I2S does not show up in aplay, so I am trying to track down what I am missing. If I find my kernel log from the mares board, I will let you know. I do have the kernel .config if you want that. [linux-sunxi] Re: i2s audio codec support for sun7i
I have an A10 marsboard with i2s running. I just built the kernel for an A20 Olimex board, and I have the the same alsa packages on the olimex board. But the I2S does not show up on the olimex board. What am I missing?
