Dear List,
I would clarify that the problem of RJ45 port was specific to that piece.
I ordered a lot  of 20 Mele M3 and have deployed them as thinclients
booting LTSP5 with overlayfs enabled kernel  and fbturbo display driver.
I plan to create a New Device Howto  soon and all the pictures.

One caveat to that triple yes.

We only want to see devices documented that people actually own, and 
which have been brought up properly. With u-boot-sunxi and sunxi-boards
patches and with photos of the innards, etc.

We do not want people to look at aliexpress and just throw some 
marketing info in our wiki. That's just counterproductive.

So Rajesh, buy the device(s) that you fancy, and work through our 
http://linux-sunxi.org/New_Device_howto and help yourself and others, 
and enjoy your new arm-based linux device(s) afterwards.

Yes, yes yes! The more devices are documented, the better it is for all 
of us :)


In this specific case, the Mele was our main target for a long time. 
Many developers still have Mele's. The A20 based mele for some reason 
has been skipped and has very little information however. Which is why 
we are very interested in the guts and glory :)

reused as low powered general purpose computers. Many of such devices have

Most allwinner based devices on marketplace are A20 based, 1 GB model
A10 and A31  are not seen in general. In Quad core segment generally device
makers are

That's okay, no problem, the pics will still be very helpfull. Mostly 
pics of the PCB.

btw i overclocked the dram to 456 Mhz and it could run without
problems. I
then reduced it to 408 Mhz , seeing that gtkperf
does not yeild any benefits.
