Mandrake has never been an issue with people I have spoken with. I do remember a security alert about file system access though. I am not 100% sure - maybe check out their web site. Well it certainly wasn't a pretty sight for me, at least not in the 8.1 days. It worked for a while, but there were all these quirks. hi guys, I have a friend who is looking to break the MS circle of death. He's eyeballing Mandrake 9.1 Power Pack edition. He is definitely a *nix newbie so I am curious what is thought of this offering?
