Probably so.  I just got the badtrans bug from one of the guys on the
vhf list, alot of windoze users there.  He caught it for me and
forwarded it.  Its the ones from people I don't know at all that I
wonder about.

The worm seems to be able to pick up a  link from a
web page stored in the machine.

The most horrible consequence may not be that it destroys
files on the victims' machine, but its ability to pick up at
random a file to append itself -- while you got a resume
from Jerry Andrews, one of my customers I visited yesterday
got an attachment from his CEO in Overseas with confidential
corporate .  Well, he paid a big price to get his machine
back to work ( I only charge him a humble fee btw, but he
has to spend hours restoring his data ), but he says its
worth it.

I haven't got any of these or the SirCam stuff(looking around quickly for 
wood to knock on).  I don't think it's this list, the name doesn't sound 
familiar.
