Yes, I founf the same thing that kvirc 2.1.1 does not list all channels that
are open, likely due to to few people for the service to recognize it.

When connected to irc.openprojects.net using KVIrc (2.1.1) and do a list of
channels, I do not see #linux-users. Is it actually up and running?

Clicking that link with Mozilla will open a ChatZilla window and connect
to the #linux-users channel on irc.openprojects.net.
Haven't tried with Konqueror, yet.

#linux-users on irc.openprojects.net:6667

There is something for this that works with win clients, mIRC, I have not
seen/tried this with a Linux Clients (ksirc, kvirc, bx) but I will give it a
shot

> 3. anyone know of an irc->html forum (and vice-versa) gateway?

I will look for it, seen it someplace. I do not know of an "Apache" specific
module for such an item, but IMHO that is more insecure than actually
connecting to an IRC server.

OPN (Open Projects Network) strives to have a safe, secure area for users to
discuss Linux, not warez, porno or MP3s.

I will look for these items and see what I can find..

Sorry, i don't have answers to these questions, although i do have a
comment. I'd think that an irc->html gateway would be very resource
intensive on any irc channel that has any normal traffic.
