Re: [WSG] different way than using the BR tags

2006-04-21 Thread Stuart Colville
In your first problem you need to clear the paragraph under the image. (clear: right;)For the ampersand errors just replace with the entity amp; and all will be well.

Ok i have a problem wen i view my the page on a few of my pages for my webpage on the Phantom (http://www.germworks.net/Phantom
)The problem is tat like wat we previously discussed in my webpage in regard to the align: right in the css style sheet so tat every image is aligned right. what happens if you dont want that image to be aligned right. I say tat because on this page
http://www.germworks.net/Phantom/McCoy.html the bottom image makes the text wrap around the image and it looks tacky. Normally when you dont place the align in the style sheet and u do it in the page you can work around this problem.
Does tat make sense??Any ideas etcThanks in advance-- GermWorkshttp://www.germworks.net

Re: [WSG] Site Check Please: www.re-entity.com

2006-04-07 Thread Stuart Colville
I would take the clear:left off the paragraphs within your post.FRom this: .post p, .post ul { margin-bottom:10px; clear:left; }to .post p, .post ul { margin-bottom:10px;
 }That way the text will wrap around the Roulette image that you've floated left rather than clearing it.On 4/7/06, Stuart Sherwood

Mmm, I have some sympathy for your dislike of the uppercase text...just can't bring myself to change it yet. I like the way it looks too much but I will experiment to see if I can find a pleasing alternative.Those weird links are Blogger generated... :( This is why I'm on the search for a JSP blogging alternative. Any suggestions?
Yes, the privacy policy should be a link...but I guess I better write one first...Doh!The Philosophy page is certainly there...don't know what happened for you.The posting for Roulette, The Band has a link at the bottom, but I have added another link within the post anyway. I haven't put any links in the portfolio section as I indend that to be stand alone from the large images I link to.
Yep, I think you are right about my welcome message...changed!Thanks,Stuart

www.re-entity.comI'd have to agree on the upper-case issue. It is harder to read, and to
be frank, today when things are hard to read, I just don't bother. Mean,
but true.What do those wierd non-validating almost empty link things doShould 'Privacy Policy' be a link?I actually quite like the design, I think it looks very modern, verystylish, and yet techy. Clear and organised :)
I got a 404 on your design philosophy. That's an interesting statementto make;)Home seems to be rather difficult to get to, once you are deep in thesite. I expect a link to home either on the logo or somewhere upper left.
You could include links to the websites you have built?Thumbs up from me, overall:)Kat**The discussion list for
