I'd have to agree on the upper-case issue. It is harder to read, and to
be frank, today when things are hard to read, I just don't bother. Mean,
but true.

What do those wierd non-validating almost empty link things do

Should 'Privacy Policy' be a link?

I actually quite like the design, I think it looks very modern, very
stylish, and yet techy. Clear and organised :)

I got a 404 on your design philosophy. That's an interesting statement
to make;)
Home seems to be rather difficult to get to, once you are deep in the
site. I expect a link to home either on the logo or somewhere upper left.

You could include links to the websites you have built?

Thumbs up from me, overall:)

Kat

I would take the clear:left off the paragraphs within your post.FRom this: .post p, .post ul { margin-bottom:10px; clear:left; }to .post p, .post ul { margin-bottom:10px;
}That way the text will wrap around the Roulette image that you've floated left rather than clearing it.On 4/7/06, Stuart Sherwood

Mmm, I have some sympathy for your dislike of the uppercase text...just can't bring myself to change it yet. Any suggestions?
Yes, the privacy policy should be a link...but I guess I better write one first...Doh!The Philosophy page is certainly there...don't know what happened for you.The posting for Roulette, The Band has a link at the bottom, but I have added another link within the post anyway. I haven't put any links in the portfolio section as I indend that to be stand alone from the large images I link to.
Yep, I think you are right about my welcome message...changed!Thanks,Stuart

It's pretty, but to actually use it, I must turn off your styles.

Here's what I see with your styles enabled:

Please note the disclaimer at the bottom of the setup page.

You couple substandard brightness and contrast (.date-header,
#description, #sidebar more) with text smaller than your visitors want
(CSS small or less for all but headings). Why do you find it desirable
to make it hard to use this way? Don't you think your potential clients
want accessible sites?

Re: [WSG] Site Check Please: www.re-entity.com

2006-04-06 Thread Daniel Nitsche
Hi Stuart,1. I'm not sure the uppercase text in the tiny font works that well. I think you can get away with it for the sub headings, but it's difficult to read (try a bigger font-size, with mixed case text).
2. The introductory paragraph is a bit lengthy. Why not just cut it down to Introducing design transparency -- you could even put this directly below your title, as it tells the user pretty much what the page is about. If you want to include the other stuff, put it in an about section.
3. Welcome to my new site detracts from the professionalism I believe are trying to acheive.I hope this helps!Daniel NitscheOn 4/7/06,
