Hi Peter,

The Tesla is 100% battery electric, no range extender.

Do you know if the Tesla's include a generator to supplement battery power?

[FLEAA] Steven's Tesla

2008-09-14 Thread Andrew
Greetings Everyone,

Steven will probably drive his Tesla to Florida EAA meetings as well as the
next Battery Beach Burnout.

Steven's Tesla is Silver, but his BROTHER'S Tesla is black.

Two Teslas in this family, so far :-)

Hi Joseph,

There is nothing I can add to that, but I will let everyone know if I hear
anything.

Subject: [FLEAA] AC Propulsion BMS

On the EVDL someone mentioned that they talked to Tom Gage at the EV
Rally in Palo Alto. According to him, Tom Gage said that the battery
pack in the Tzero is dead now,

But, on a positive note, he says Tom Gage mentioned making a BMS
available that used 18650 batteries. Considering that there is a page
under construction on the AC Propulsion website titled "AC Propulsion
Battery Monitors" that seems quite possible.

Does anyone, (particularly Andrew whom we all know has some
connections with AC Propulsion) know anymore about this?
