Hi all,
I am having some issues with a client's MOSS site. When attempting to go to Page>Page Settings from the Edit Console, I continually get "user not found" error. I have also restored a backup of their site onto my dev environment and am getting the same behavior on my machine. All other Sites that I have on my machine are fine, I have removed all their users from the back up and am getting the same error even though I am logged on as Farm Administrator/ Site collection admin and site owner, I still get this same error. Has anyone come across this before? Another thing, they seem to have done a few restores for whatever reason, I am not sure if this has caused the issue. They have also lost their scopes for search, so now they only see "this site" in the search scope drop down.
