Hi all,

I got this in which is really really interesting to me in terms of how small business that uses OpenSource can pay something back.

The link to Marta's  FOSDEM talk is below which I greatly enjoyed. This is something very close to my heart.

A topic for an upcoming LUG meeting perhaps?

Cheers,

Alex

Subject: Donating to OpenEmbedded as a company

Hello all,
I'm posting to this list, because more people might be interested. I'm willing to make a donation from my company to OpenEmbedded (as a part of an initiative I talk more at [1]). Companies need invoices or other proofs for payments, as most of you know. I then contacted the SPI treasurer to work out details. Nothing happened, same after a follow-up message.

This is a pity, because a company cannot make a donation in such situation. It is also pushing to become a member of YP instead, where 5k is quite a large sum for a really small company. I would really prefer to give to OE. Whom can work this out?

Kind regards,
Marta
