Re: All mirror links broken?

I just saw that the new site with the 1.2.11 release was published
(many thanks for that btw!) so I assume it should be downloadable
 too.

Yes, it is.

But all the mirror links are broken for me.

I know and that's why I haven't sent out the announcement yet. The
page has been fixed by now and is just waiting for the live site to pick
up the changes.

 http://tweedo.com/mirror/apache//logging/log4net/1.2.11/binaries/log4net-1.2.11-bin-newkey.zip

The extra 1.2.11 directory is wrong, but you already know that. The
same is true for the md5 and pgp-sig links (you didn't even try to check
them, shame on you).

The solution is easy: When I remove the 1.2.11 directory from the
path all of those links work. But still, should be fixed on the site
 ;-)

Yes, many thanks for the report!

Btw: The double slashes in the paths look a bit weird too.

They do, but that's something that is out of our immediate scope (its
the foundation wide configuration of mirrors).

Thanks

Stefan

[ANN] Apache log4net 1.2.11 Released

2011-10-12 Thread Stefan Bodewig
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-
Hash: SHA1

The Apache log4net team is pleased to announce the release of Apache
log4net 1.2.11. The release is available for download at

http://logging.apache.org/log4net/download.html

The Apache log4net library is a tool to help the programmer output log
statements to a variety of output targets. log4net is a port of the
excellent Apache log4j framework to the Microsoft(R) .NET runtime.

log4net 1.2.11 is not only a bugfix release, it also adds support for
.NET 4.0 as well as the client profiles of .NET 3.5 and .NET 4.0.
See the release-notes at

http://logging.apache.org/log4net/release/release-notes.html

for a full list of changes.

Starting with this release log4net uses a new strong name key but we
also provide a binary distribution using the old strong name key of
log4net 1.2.10 and earlier. See the FAQ at

http://logging.apache.org/log4net/release/faq.html#two-snks

for details.

The binary distributions no longer contain assemblies built for the
Compact Framework 1.0 or the Shared Source CLI - you can build those
yourself using the source distribution.
