Based on a multitude of suggestions I'll be at the Star this Thursday
(21/3) around 7pm. I'm planning to meet at least one other perl
hacker there, if anyone's in the area and fancies a pint and some
conversation, let me know.

London.pm Social Meeting, 3rd April, The Counting House - EC3V 3PD

2014-03-18 Thread Tom Hukins
Hi all,

For some reason, Rick's announcement of our next social meeting didn't
make it to this list from the announcement list:
http://london.pm.org/pipermail/london.pm-announce/2014-March/000347.html
(where it says "March" in the subject, it should say "April").

I hope to see you at The Counting House in the City of London on
Thursday 3rd April.

Tom

DBIC Hackathon, April 12th, Swindon UK

2014-03-18 Thread Jess Robinson

Hi all,

I hope I haven't left this too late (been doing other crazy things like
house hunting/clearing), or you've noticed by other means..

On April 12th I'm organising an all-day DBIC hackathon, in Swindon. It's
free and will include venue and snack/breakfast/lunch costs. You'll need
to organise/pay your own travel, accommodation and evening meal (though as
it runs until 9:30pm its likely we'll have a communal order for the
evening meal).

ribasushi, mst and ilmari are attending, so you'll have the opportunity to
badger the main developers of DBIC itself, as well as me.

For more details/sign-up see: http://tinyurl.com/dbic-hackathon

Or ask me directly if I've missed any details.

We're still hunting for a sponsor for the daytime foods, around £300
should cover it, please contact me or Mark Keating
(m.keat...@shadowcat.co.uk) if you'd like to support us!
