Re: Westfield (W12) Lunch - SPAM

2014-07-24 Thread Schmoo
Hi all,

Brief note about the lunch in Westfield today...
a slightly more targetted meeting area was requested, so I have picked
a spot in front of 'Chips & Fish' (on the edge of the food court, with
the apple store on the opposite side of the atrium).

Any difficulties finding us in the area between 1200 and 1400, I
should be available on +447782106189.

Kind regards,
Gaz

To be pedantic, NAP has been in W12 for the last four years, inside
the Westfield shopping centre.

And during that time, we've had lunch with BBC employees (including
Schmoo) at least a couple of times :-)

Ah, now, see, no-one tells me anything :)
Actually, someone may very well have told me that, but it didn't leap
to mind at the time of compilation.

To be pedantic, NAP has been in W12 for the last four years, inside
the Westfield shopping centre.

*Some* NAP employees have been moved to Network House while renovation
and expansion is going on in the Westfield offices.

But we still eat in Westfield :)

Westfield (W12) Lunch - SPAM

2014-07-08 Thread Schmoo
Hi all,

Summary:
Food,
Westfield W12,
1200-1300
16th, 17th, 23rd, 24th, 30th, and/or 31st of July

I've recently discovered that NAP have moved into Network House in W12.
W12 happens to also be the workplace location of myself and a select
few colleagues who may be known to a number of people on this list.

To celebrate the continued existence of this universe, which hath
wrought Perl, I thought it might be nice to have a little shared
lunch. Westfield has a varied food-court, which should have enough
space for our needs with no prior booking. Not sure if SPAM is
available cooked, however.

To that end, this thing lists 6 days in the near future, for the
purpose of coordination:
http://doodle.com/yfwyingzkce7rbe6

I recommend assuming that the most "filled in" day is the consensus,
and I intend to show up on that particular day for about 2 hours.

If there is no apparent consensus, I, and others, generally loiter
around Westfield between 1200 and 1300 on most weekdays anyway. This
is also why I've configured this scheduling service to offer 1200 as a
time to meet.

So, yeah... Come one, come all, come none if that's how you feel :)

I hope to see you, personally, whoever you are, on one of the days.
And apologies for the spam, everyone else.

Kind regards,

schmooster
