If you are having a problem getting mail from the outside and running SuSE
8.0, they default smtp to only allow local mail.  That stumped me for a
bit.

No, but as always be extremely careful if you do run an SMTP server.  Do
know what you are doing, or you risk making an open relay for spammers, or
another vector for people to crack your machine.
