[Lubuntu-desktop] Forum Support
Hi, you will be aware that we now have a lubuntu prefix on http://ubuntuforums.org/ whilst I know everyone is busy, and it is a real small team could I ask that you do pop on every now and again to check for lubuntu questions. The way the system works so that you can pick up on people who have either used the lubuntu prefix or a lubuntu tag are: 1) Click on Search, select Tag, type in lubuntu 2) Click on Search, select Advanced, Under the banner that says "Search Options", to the left you will see an option "Find Threads with Prefix". Scroll down the list and select "lubuntu" They've been kind enough to give us the option, IMHO it is only right that we do take the time to go and check on postings that are lubuntu related. [Lubuntu-desktop] Final testing

Re: [Lubuntu-desktop] Blog post mentioning Lubuntu...
Hi Jeff, Glad the instructions were of use, they're now safely on https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Lubuntu/DocumentationHelp just in case something untoward were to happen to my baby forum. I'd be grateful if you could e-mail me back how you set up your apt server, as I'm looking to also to resurrect old laptops with lubuntu. Regards, Phill. [Lubuntu-desktop] Second installation on Goldrake (PIII-500/1GB RAM/4GB HDD/nVidia GeForce2/Ensoniq ES1371/Lite-On LNE100TX)
Hello All, I reconfigured the hardware a bit on the old PC Goldrake that I am using for testing. I had a succesful installation, though a change of audio card was needed to get sound working. Details are in the report: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Lubuntu/SubTeams/TestingSubTeam/InstallationReports/CDavidRigby_Goldrake_LubuntuLucidBeta3_LiveCDInstallation_02 Regards, David ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~lubuntu-desktop Post to : lubuntu-desktop@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~lubuntu-desktop More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
