[Lubuntu-desktop] What version of libltdl3 lubuntu handles?

2011-06-29 Thread Jean-Pierre Vidal Piesset
Devs:

I've come today with something weird for me: today i've installed the
drivers for my Epson all-in-one, and when installed the last file, the
system said "need libltdl3_1.5.2-2" or above. Ok, this things happens... but
i've found that for Hardy the version of it is libltdl3_1.5.26-1 so i don't
understand much why in 11.04 the version is older. Maybe is not there?

Thanks.

Re: [Lubuntu-desktop] ozone2 updates

I'd like to finish Ozone2 before Oneiric release. But you can always
download "piece by piece" as they get polished. I'll keep you informed
about changes and additions.

Remember that Ozone still lacks a GTK3 theme and (maybe) a dedicated
icon theme (a slight variation from elementary, don't panic, just two or
three single icons to make it "different").

PS. Does anybody know if we're going to include GTK2 apps?

Will these themes be available after Oneiric is released?

No prob. You're welcome. BTW, the poll goes as is:

wallpaper_bubbles: 2
wallpaper_standard: 6

panel_light: 2
panel_dark: 3

And don't send two or three votes, I know you all! :D :D

I'm following tendences! :D (I liked the blue panel too, but you may
know it was heavily criticized).

Vote added (only for wallpaper, sigh).

+1 for the 1st.
I personally prefer having a blue panel, or something which is nice with
blue icons. But, it's just personal taste :)

That's why I prefer it then :D
It would look nicer with bubbles though.

My vote:
Personally i prefer the Colourful with
bubbles
,
the other one looks quite "for old people" :)
I prefer the bright bar, since the panel should match with the windows
theme, dark systems it's not what i prefer :/

Of course, that's why there're links so you can download the PNGs and
use on your panels. Sorry, the wallpaper is 1280x1024 only at the
moment. More resolutions will be created after.

Cheers!

Re: [Lubuntu-desktop] ozone2 updates

2011-06-29 Thread Matthew Young
Hello everyone,

I think the colorful wallpaper with the bubbles looks the best of the two. I
think the white panel would show the indicators the best, but I could be
wrong.

Will it be possible to test these themes before the actual Oneiric release?
