This one is perfect. With an update version (already in progress), it
may be fine for inclusion.

Interesting :)

Well I forgot to mention that you can request some games, with following
needs :

- In official Ubuntu repo.
- No big depends
- no 3D necessary
- need to be fun :)

I'll be happy to add some of them in Lubuntu :)

Julien Lavergne

[Lubuntu-desktop] games

2010-06-18 Thread Josef

Hai everybody,

I want to talk about gamesYes I know you guys talk about the game
issue already , but this is different.
I like to propose I mean ask, If its possible to add games that doesn't
require heavy video card or
other heavy hardware. I like to see games in Lubuntu that make us busy
with thinking teasing our
brains like patience, sudoku or gbrainy that doesn't need special video
stuff at all.At this moment
I play games that is running on dosbox(dosgames) like digger and its fun
on my netbook.

thanks for reading my mail.

Thanks you.
Josef.

ok, then no cards game. I Think thats ok, three games are enough, so lets
take xinv3d, tint and pacman.

One more thing: maybe we could even include kind of an easteregg with our
names, so when you open the "run"-Dialoge and type in "lubuntu credits", a
list of all the people who helped appears.

I can’t find a simple patience type game that has little or no

Space Invaders would be nice, Solitaire is a must, Sudoku maybe.

I’m sure they would fit in the 300MB+ left :)

xinv3d is a Space Invaders type game with no dependencies to drag in.

pacman is also available in the repos and doesn’t have any extra
dependencies.

tint is a rather nice Tetris clone with no extra dependencies.

I wish KDE games wouldn't bloat evetyhing with QT libs... KPaitience,
KJumpingCube, Kmajhong (or whatever you spell it), KBattleship, etc -
they would be perfect imo. the problem with them it the "K"...
