For the round corners of the logout box, what if i change the gtk theme?? It
will stick with that color and won't match with my color scheme :S
I think that those corners should be as always just for those who like to
change colors from time to time... :)

Yes, that's the place. I'll have a look tomorrow. Now it's time to go to

Isn't it supposed to be in /usr/share/themes/ at least that's where it is on
my machines. No sign of a .themes folder.

I'm afraid yes :D ...for the moment. Maybe you're right and those
packages are outdated. I'm testing on Lubuntu Maverick and Natty, both
on new AMD machines (sorry, I have no dinosaurs right now, they're fully
extinct), and all themes are working as expected.

I have now tried this on three different machines with three different
installs. One from the alpha 2 CD; one from the alpha 1 CD; one upgraded from
10.10. All updated today with the new artwork package. Same problem with them
all. The menu drops down and then nothing that is clicked on functions.
Alt+F2 doesn't work either but, the TTYs can be reached, Alt+Ctrl+Fn. Can't
see anything in the logs. Any suggestions how to debug this.

Sorry, I should have added that my old test machine runs on a AMD Athlon

Re: [Lubuntu-desktop] Ozone theme available for testing

2011-02-16 Thread (Rafael Laguna)
I've tested it on an old Pentium with 1 gb RAM too. Now here goes the
weird thing: usual windows run fine, but superuser apps are slow. Why?
It happens (to me) too in Ubuntu (AMD-K7) with Radiance theme.

Anyway, the Nautilus dependencies and definitions have been erased
completely. I hope there will not be errors at all at boot time, and
this may speed a bit the theme (because of not printing errors to
console in background) or trying to find those missing pixmaps and / or
values).

You can test it at the usual place.

Bye!

Hello all.
I've found my test machine, which is pretty old, 1Gb RAM; Nvidia FX5200 GPU;
Gigabyte GA-K8NSC-939 motherboard loads update manager significantly slower
with the Ozone widgets turned on.I've not checked anything else as that was
enough for me to turn the Ozone widgets off.
